The regional map1 below shows the locations of many sites referenced on other webpages that describe various aspects of Grimshaw family history. A small scale map of England on another webpage provides higher-level orientation, including the location of Lancashire in the northwest part of the country. At the other end of the spectrum, a large-scale Ordnance Survey map on another companion webpage provides greater detail for the immediate vicinity of Eccleshill and Clayton-le-Moors, the two most important locations for Grimshaw history.
